The Apex Commercial Superintendent for Painting and Coatings will oversee and manage all painting and coating operations, ensuring the highest quality standards while maintaining strict safety protocols and environmental compliance.


Essential Responsibilities


  • Supervise and coordinate painting and coating projects across airport facilities

  • Oversee and manage all on-site operations related to commercial and multifamily, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of construction crews, subcontractors, and skilled laborers, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of blueprints, project documentation, and building codes related to multi-family residential construction and renovation.
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to project schedules.
  • Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions and communicate effectively with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Document and report on project status, issues, and resolutions to the Project Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Address on-site challenges promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Establish and promote a culture of safety on site, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to by all personnel.
  • Organize and manage materials and equipment needed for projects, ensuring efficient and timely use.


Qualifications:


  • Manage and be a leader onsite
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a construction leadership role, specifically in commercial and multifamily.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, construction materials, and budgeting related to multi-family residential buildings.
  • Proficient with project management software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.

Working Conditions:


This role involves on-site work at construction locations and potential exposure to outdoor elements. The role may involve physical labor and adherence to strict safety protocols. Personal protective equipment will be provided. 


Compensation: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
